The Senior Process.

  • Book Your Session

    Email or call us at (614) 906-2726 and we will send you our session detail magazine which includes pricing information and everything necessary to get ready for your session. Make sure you contact us EARLY as our sessions book months in advance – grab your spot soon!

  • Your Consultation

    Once you’ve reserved your date, we will meet up for a pre-session consultation.  At your consultation appointment, we will discuss ideas, answer questions and select your location(s) for your shoot.  This is when we will create a plan that is JUST FOR YOU!

  • Your Day!

    On the day of your session you will look and feel your best. During your session we will be choosing outfits, showing you how to pose, having fun, creating amazing images, so that we can have a variety of playful and relaxed styles. After your session, we will confirm the date of your ordering appointment.

  • Your Session Preview Appointment

    You will see a slideshow of YOUR DAY and we will help you select the very best images and display options at this time.

Pricing.

“How much is this going to cost” has to be the most commonly asked question, as well it should be. Asking how much your senior pictures will be is like asking a waitress how much your dinner will cost before placing you order. There are too many variables for us to give you an accurate estimate without knowing what products you are looking to order. There are two main investments you will make during your Senior Experience.

First, you will choose the session type that fits your needs. The session investment ranges between FREE and $650. Each level including more options and overall shooting time.  More time means you can expect to shoot in more outfits, go to more locations and create more magic!

The second investment will be your digital or printed product purchase.  This is where client orders will vary based on your individual needs. We have grouped commonly purchased items into collections where each collection will include a canvas wall art piece, an album, gift prints and a number of digital negatives(with print release). We offer a number different collections starting at $495, with individual prints starting at $35. Digital only collections are also available and start at $495.

We recognize the power of Social Media and realize that some clients would be happy with the Rs Experience and only want social media images to share with friends and family. We have created a session specifically for the social savvy.  The Social Savvy Session includes 40 social media sized images and a 5 gift prints (8×10 or smaller) for a flat rate of $595.

It is our job as your photographer to guide you though the selection process and provide you with the right products to fit your budget.  If a collection doesn’t fit your needs, we have a full À la carte menu to purchase from.  Check our our blog post on Top 10 Products Purchased for details on each of the commonly purchased items.

We accept Cash, Credit and Checks as payment methods.  Session fees are non-refundable/non-transferrable and are paid in advance to secure your selected session date and time. Print or digital product purchases require 50% of the investment paid at the time of the order and the balance due upon delivery.  Printed products generally take 4-6 weeks to come in from the date of your order.

What if I need to reschedule my session?

  • We understand that unexpected events come up (illness, weather, travel delays, emergencies, etc.).  If you need to reschedule your session, PLEASE CALL US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  If you reschedule within a 24-48 hour time frame, we will do our best to reschedule your session within (2) two months of your originally scheduled session.  KEEP IN MIND THAT SESSION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN ONE OPPORTUNITY TO RESCHEDULE.  WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS WILL BE WORKED INTO THE CURRENT SCHEDULE AS AVAILABLE.

Can I make my own copies?

  • All images remain the property of Robb Shirey Photography and are protected by Federal Copyright Laws.  Duplication in part or whole (whether by scanning or reprinting) is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted by law.  This includes posting scanned, screen captured or photos of images on social media websites.

Can I use images from my session for my yearbook?

  • YES! We can provide a yearbook image from an ordered image.  This must be requested during the ordering session.

What is a minimum purchase?

  • Over the years, we’ve found that our clients like knowing what to expect.  Having a minimum purchase requirement in place has helped clients choose sessions that work within their budget, thus giving the opportunity to create one-of-a-kind experiences that deliver the best finished product for clients – Without any surprises!

How long will it take to get my order?

  • Your portraits will be ready for pickup approximately 4-6 weeks after your order is placed (this date varies based on the type(s) of products you have ordered).

When do I pay for my order?

  • We require 50% of your total order before any part of the order is processed.  This includes digital files and/0r yearbook images).  All orders are custom made and are non-refundable.  The remaining 50% is due upon product delivery.
